Buruburka bulsho iyo tafaraaruqa siyaasadeed ee Dowladda Federaalka ah iyo Maamul Goboleedyadu

There are some lessons to be learned from the short but nonetheless profitable experiences of this Republic;
because we can claim with justice that we have made a unique, practical contribution to African unity by merging two
independent African states into one-even against the established prejudices of interested powers
“Dugsi ma leh qabyaaladi waxay dumiso mooyaane”
I would like to remind the Somali people that the progress of our country necessitates the contribution of everyone of us towards our national endeavor. If you build a school or hospital here or construct a canal there by self-help method, I consider that to be a constructive contribution to the development and progress of our country
Anyone who aspires to a position of leadership should democratically, persuasively, and convincingly demonstrate why he/ she deserves the peoples’ confidence/trust and support, instead of imposing his/her will and whim at gunpoint.
All must know that the government of Somalia will strive its uttermost,, with the legal and peaceful means which are its democratic prerogative to attain this end:
“Looking ahead, the pivotal test for Somalia will not be procuring more assistance from the world community or even defeating al-Shabab,” she said. “The truly defining test will be an internal one. Somalis have to decide whether they want to exist as disparate clans isolated from the world and in conflict with one another, or as a united country with all the attributes, benefits and responsibilities that such unity brings.”
“A house divided against itself cannot stand.”
The problem in creating a Somali national army has less to do with the international community and more to do with clan and regional loyalties of Somalis. Too many Somalis still give their loyalty to a clan or region and not to the national government. Until this situation changes, it will be difficult to create a large and effective national army.
